Hi all my first post, just in the middle of buying a 2.0 TDI Altea XL, lifted the bonnet to find no engine cover, the salesman said they did'nt fit them after 2007, all the brackets are there even what looks like a locating rubber round the filler cap, is the salesman bulling me

Nope, he aint! Had my Altea 1.9 tdi SE new a few weeks ago - no cover! VAG must be keeping them for Audi!
