JUst wondering what other peoples are like or if some can tell me what might be wrong

depends how much power its losing

have a search for old RR plots or vagcom boost logs,

you'd see that due to the limitations of the turbo, boost drops a fair bit and thus so does power, where you might peak at 21/22 psi or so initially, it drops to about 14 by 4500rpm, and then even lower to about 12psi at 6000rpm

fmic helps matters but its no miracle cure

My car was doing something similar on stage one recently. I took it to BBT in Thurrock and the maf sensor had gone and a couple of engine hoses were shoddy, since they've been done my car's running like a dream again. Might be worth getting it checked??

Vag com it to see if anything is up.

And remember the k03 is a tiny turbo and cant hold boost that far up the rev range.

Also, how long have you had stage 2? Its takes a few miles to adapt to the fuelling etc..

I think phil has hit the nail on the head, I found that stage 2 holds the power slighty better after 5000rpm, On stage 1 to me it felt like it wasnt even boosting at around 5000rpm onwards , Thats why its better to change at around 5k and not at the redline, Unless logging of course ;)

Get yourself a K03s that will hold the power better for you!
