left hand drive only i believe.

some other info:
the cupra body kit was in fact originally found on the 2.8V6 4wd leon.
This was then borrowed and used on the cupra when the leon got facelifted.

i wasnt aware they did a 225 version, but i may be wrong!

They did a LHD 1.8T model however it was the 180bhp ko3s engine, there was a guy that posted on the 'other' old site that did a big turbo conversion on it and it was rather rapid can't remember what country he was from however.

you're right, my mistake.

certainly no 4WD R though, would just make it as dull to drive as the S3, but with rattles.

It's a real shame they never imported them into the UK

I run a Leon Cupra with Revo which is fantastic but I also ran an S3 for a couple of months and, where I live (twisty bumpy lanes, cow poo and mud in winter) that Haldex 4wd was really noticable. However the S3 was heavy, noticably slower than my Cupra and had a tiny boot.

I'd love to get my hands on the VAG group's parts bin and build my own "ideal" motor from them.. It would be:

Seat Leon Cupra R, Haldex 4wd with the ride height jacked up to std Cupra levels.. then of course I'd revo it and bingo.. my perfect car! Fast, great traction, no scraping over the bumps (and therefore having to take it steady!) and a boot big enough to get the dog in..

Perfect!
