hey all,
I'm sorry if this has been covered before,

what's the best brand of lowering springs to go for and what's the best place to get them from, I currently have he standard fr ones on my car and riding on 18" alloys.

If your heart is set on 40mm I think only H&R is available.
Otherwise Eibach sport or prolines are your best bet. One of the Eibach drops more than the other btw.
But I think it has been extensively coverd here. Try the search ;)

I am using Bilstein B12 tuning kit. This kit includes springs H & R.
Kit provides an excellent behavior both on public roads and on the racetrack

H&R springs 40mm drop....car sits level, ride isn't compromised compared with the standard set-up and it still clears speed humps OK.

+1 on the OE set-up but probably a little difficult to see the difference from that angle :D

Do these springs improve the ride. Having owned modded cars for many years - and having fitted coilovers to firm up the suspension - the FR is the first car I have ever had where I am trying to soften the suspension!! It is the hardest ride of any car I have every owned..... and that's a lot of cars!!

I'm getting my car lowered soon and was advised to let the car settle for a few weeks before I get the geometry done. Now I'm also thinking about getting 10mm spacers all round. Should I make sure I get the spacers fitted before the geometry is done or can I fit the spacers after geometry?
