40k Service is due!!!

Hi All

Done now 40,800 in my 04 Leon Cupra TDI and thought i would give them a ring to book in. When i asked what the price was he told me £349 for the service, the car is still under warranty but i suppose most of the stuff they check will be outside of it and they will prolly find loads to do.

Is this a resonable price for this service?

Just as side note i spent £256 in June on the yearly service and oil change, also the service miles notifier is telling me 2000 miles so should i wait?

What are the quoting to do on the service?

He realed off a load of stuff, including the follow from what i remember:

Full inspection inside and out
All filters changed
Brakes Checked (only wheel off, not dismantle)
Test drive to check it still drives like it should
Diagnostics with a computer

After that he was struggling to think of things to add after i gasped at the price.

Well on a full service we normally do:
air filter
oil filter + oil
fuel filter (on the TDi'd - sparks on the petrols)
engine oil flush - dependant on vehicle mileage
sump plug and washer
screen wash
full vehicle inspection checking over everything from suspension, brakes, tyre tread depth, lighting etc
full lubrication service on all hinges and catches
full diagnostics/fault code check
