409-1 software

Hi guys i bought a vag-com kit off ebay it came whit the 409-1 sortware, having problems getting it to work... when i scan my mk3 ibiza cupra it comes up with the faults then crashes then i can get the fault codes bk up, i have tryed this on 3 diffrent laptops is this the right software for my car or for the usb cable, interface says 0BD-II on it??

if you got it on ebay it will be a ripped off copy so i doubt they will help you much in here sadly

try a fresh download of the trial from Vag-Com™ themselves to see if it's working properly

alternatively make sure the interface driver is installed and run properly, if on vista or win7 run as administrator is usually the fix

Aye, it pays dividends to buy the proper product from an official source. You get a supported product, with free software updates included.

Fleabay maybe cheaper, but when you get a poor unsupported product it ends up costing more money in the long-run, and doesn't do the developer any favours so they go out of business and cease to provide an invaluable product.
