Hi,

Is it ok to paint my ap racing calipers with hammerite paint? they look like they have plastic type coating (as standard) and just want to confirm that the paint will work on these?

and also, has anyone got any or know if anyone sells SEAT SPORT white decals for the calipers so i can re-do these or will i have to just try and paint it on myself with white hammerite?? (cant see that coming out very well, but lol)

let me know

DONT DO IT.
as you have the ap racing brakes id sugeest giving them a good polish that will cut into the paint abit then laquer them the last thing you want to do is ruin them with hammerite.
dont get me wrong hammerite works a treat but only on cars with brakes that dont come pre painted.

R rite lads hope your all having a good sunday morning, thanks for a;; the replies...i did think hammerite was ok for the normal brakes(not painted) but as cupra al has said, they are all ready painted and i did have a bad feeling it wouldnt work...stupid thing is i already bought the bloody hammerite...i'd be interested to know if anyone has done this (possibly with another type of paint.

sooo i have a tin of hammerite, smooth red, cost me 15 kwid, some can have it for 8 kwid if they need to do their brakes!!
