no benefits at all

its just a valve basically to keep a constant fuel presure so that you dont under fuel or over fuel

fitting a 4bar to a standard engine could cause problems but if its mapped to the 4bar then it will be ok, but unless your sticking a bigger turbo on i wouldnt bother

Ok cool,

Its just the cars being re-mapped soon & a few people have said that fitting a 4 bar fpr will increase the power?

Nobody said why it would do this so I was just curious

very unlikely, the ecu will only stick as much fuel in as is needed, which in the end depends on how much oxygen is taken in, iv met some people in the past that believe the more fuel you pump in the more power you have, but its not as simple as that. the fpr will just make sure no more or less than what is required is injected

if youre remapping around the stock turbo, save your forty quid and buy something else

using revo as an example here mate.. from my understanding on revo stage 1 you don't need a 4 bar, but once you get stage to with a KO3s then you need it.. and i believe it can cause damage to the car if you don't have it on there when running stage 2.. I may be wrong on that...

But from my understanding most of the "stage 1" remaps do not require a 4 bar.

afraid not no hence why its a popular upgrade.

Chris.. can you expand on that.. sorry I don't get what you mean!?

yes seli_babe is ok the stage 1 does not require a 4bar fpr but the stage 2 does in conjunction with the ko3s

also did you mean.. yes seli_babe, the stage 1 does not require...

or

yes seli_babe, the stage one does require....

Oh boy.. I'm all confused now! and I know about this stuff... aahhhhh

I'm 100% sure that Revo stage 1 doesn't and i'm 98% sure that Jabba stage 1 also doesn't require a 4 bar.

neither of the stage 1 maps require a 4bar fpr, only revo on the stage 2, jabba can map for 4bar with larger turbo also
