Don't touch it. It's a cheap 50p resistor in a nice, OEM looking box. All it does is fool the ECU about fuel temperature, so overfuelling.
Years ago, I bought one of these for my Octavia, and removed it after 3 days use. I contacted the manufacturer, who informed me that
it was normal for the engine management to be on when this is connected, but that's nothing to worry about.
OK, so who are they trying to kid? Will they pay for damage to the engine caused by their product?
I think not.
Steer well clear.
