iirc the front disks are the same size on the LC but the rear disks are the smaller 239mm solid disks I'd doubt they'd fit, unless you're going to get some new calipers and possibly caliper mounting kit that would be correct for the wider bigger disks.
I wouldn't bother with this kit, seems more hassle than it 's worth and will cost to get the correct calipers so would probably end up cheaper buying the correct disks in the first place

its a bit hard to explain and too technical for me.
i one had a toledo 1.8se with TCS and i used to trash it in the snow or icy ground.
ESP is much more superior in a sence that i could take more risks.
my mate H_MAN knows how to explain it better and sweeter

TCS - This basically lowers the engine power to prevent you spinning the wheels up under heavy acceleration. TCS also has something called EDL (Electronic Differential Lock). This works to ensure that both front wheels are spining at the same speed. If it detects that one wheel is on a slippy surface then it uses the ABS to slow that wheel down.

ESP - Electronic Stability Control. This uses TCS, EDL and ABS but also uses some extra sensors (steering angle, speed, pressure on the brake pedal and maybe a few more). The system constantly monitors how hard you are pushing the car and if it detects you are getting beyond the limits it applies the brakes to the wheel it thinks will balance the car out.

As far as I know the Cupra R has both TCS and ESP. Next to the fuel cap button I have a button clearly marked 'ESP' to switch it off.

btw - My old LC (02 pre-facelift) had solid rear discs and my LCR has vented.

Yeah I agree with the above! MY03 (Facelift) Cupra has solid rear discs and only TCS and EDL (which has helped me out a few times! I recommend to anyone to keep this switched on!) ESP is standard on the LCR but can be an option IIRC on the LC. Although on the Early Cupra's I believe ESP was standard but this was before the LCR!

so are they EBC discs?

if so, i wouldn't touch 'em. but the seller has good feedback so you'll at least get what you're paying for; which, by the looks of it, ain't much

brakes ain't an area i'd scrimp or 'gamble' on, but then again i wouldn't buy a Toledo

i actually like the Toledo, as saloons go it's ok. my remark was pointed at Shady Ninja, he seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder about the tolly as nearly all his threads have some remark about what a bargain he got or how the UK is blinkered and only buys hatches blah blah :)

status subject to change
the toledo has vented rear disks as there is more car at the rear to slow down. (its a saloon to anyone that doesnt realise)
therefore there is probably a slight difference in brake bias also and so have higher spec rear braking.

and yes early cupras has ESP, cruise and leather among other things as standard, (they were £18,000 too)
then later they were basically bebadged sports, esp cruise etc all became options.

TCS is just traction control.
ESP has traction control and stability programme so it can brake individual wheels and correct understeer, / oversteer, / spinning in an emergency or for those who drive faster when you over-do it.

just rang the fella and he said the company name of the ebay item is Quinton Hazell

i thought they were just a manufacture of aftermarket replacements for OE items, didn't realise they did 'performance' (ahem) stuff too.

if it were my money i wouldn't bother, i'd spend the extra and go for recommended named brand. in fact that's a lie, i'd just stick with OE seat discs and would only mess about with pads and fluid.

mate this is a discussion forum where we all share ideas.
if im exited about my car i and that offends you i can't do any thing 'bout that.
it is also of zero benefit to you to slag me off.
if you wanted to be of any help you could have done us all a favour and answer my original question.
i never slagged you off when you had your cupra, sold it, and missed it.
dont be an armchair critic coz that only emits hot air such as bla bla bla.....,
