I'm planning on upgrading the front brakes on my TDI Sport.
I've provisionally bought a pair of MkV Golf GTI calipers & carriers, all I need is a pair of discs.
I've had a quick search around the 'net & a bit confused.
I like the look of Tarox G88 discs.......but not for £238!!:)
I don't want to spend a fortune, so what's the best option?

The calipers were part of the sale & it would be rude not to use them! :)

Anyway, carriers on their own (at a reasonable price) are as rare as hens teeth. They are ~£100 each from a dealer.

Sadly I think looks matter- I agree that OEM are fine but the look of the Tarox is great. Any other vanity based options?

I am getting OEM discs and pads when mine are due to be replaced.

Got a deal of about £160 for the front discs and pads from a mate at a local VW dealer to fit my Cupra.

Will the 16" wheels fit over the 312mm discs?

Anyone tried !6's on their FR?

Cheers,
