312mm brakes question

went to swap the brakes today on the car. found a problem i couldnt get the old disc off,it looked it was held on by the drive shaft hub nut? if so any one know what size it is as its bigger then a 32mm socket (largest one i had) and also its a bi-hex nut

it's not held on with anything other than 1 screw.


the centre is 35/36

what you need is to spray wd40 around wheel locating flange and give disc a good knock with hammer. It's located on a taper.

cheers guys, i dint have any wd 40 wi me but i sprayed it with brake cleaner and i did give it a tap from bhind must need a bigger tap lol dint want to hit it too hard and brake the disc in case it where held on with the hub nut or i would have been screwed for work

one tip if your going to 'tap' the disc off leave a couple of wheel bolts in the holes otherwise you'll be wearing the disc as a new smile!
