I have a set of them sat at home. Set just like the top link you've posted, only I've painted them black ( you could repaint them any colour obviously ) Haven't used them as I'm going for Brembos now.

So, just how easy/difficult is this to DIY?

I'm pretty handy with a socket set and a spanner when I know what I'm doing, but this is obviously not something I want to feck up - or my post count could be prematurely cut short!

Job for the pros or no?

if you know how to bleed brakes, fit discs, pads also change flexies & feel confident you can do it sure do it.
if not a pro should not charge you much to be honest.

would these work ok on a 1.2? presuming they do but thought a shud ask

They would work but then you would need to get bigger wheel hubs. Something that SEAT UK dont seem very good at sourcing :censored:

I think the one wheelhub for my car is somewhere around £50. Cant quite remember what the Seat guy said. So I presume a larger wheelhub would be more costly!
