30k service!!

My x reg has done about 36k miles. Seat did a service at 29k and said it was a basic one. As it hasnt had a "big" one I am assuming the next one will be?! Can anyone tell me if this is right and if so what sort of bum raping bill shall I expect?!?

If anyone can tell me what goes into it I may be able to get it done by a non-Seat garage....

40K is the big service.... I paid £280 at JBS.

Has the car been serviced annually? If so you would have had 'the big one' at 4 years old

It was done via mileage as far as I can tell so I will be putting it in at 40k miles then!
