but also depends on whats included. im imagining its an lube service, brake fluid change may be added dependant on dates etc.

well the car is at 26K miles about to top 27, but last service was done at 17K so this one is now due and i am saying hi to brands on the 3rd so will be nice to have it all spanking and happy before hand!

Recent 30K service (oil only) on my LC 1.8 20VT inc courtesy car and collision damage waiver on the latter was £129.63 inc VAT. (Kings Southampton)

For the previous 20K full service; £207.51 inc VAT

Are diesels so much more expensive for a basic service?

Apart from a straight forward lube service I think an equivalent service for most diesels has slightly longer book times, in the region about 0.3 hours.

There is also a dealer in Dachet SMC. Great service may be cheaper worth asking. They give courtesy car as well, maybe to far out your way but are quite reasonable for my last service.
