Evening all - not posted in a while but felt the need to 'brag' a little!

Just reached 30k miles in just over a year and I'm well and truly satisfied with the Leon. With the exception of two new P Zero Rosso's on the front (soon to be joined by two at the back!) absolutely nothing has gone wrong with it. Nothing.

The remap and exhaust have had no detrimental effect despite earlier concerns regarding the clutch managing to cope with 204BHP and 312 torques!.

Recently refurbished alloys still look great and are sooooo much easier to clean - the brake dust simply doesn't stick to the powder coated finish as much as the factory finish. Well recommended at £45 a wheel if the kerbs have attacked your wheels

Must say that I've been eyeing up the Cupra a wee bit and I'll have another gander whilst I'm at the stealer next week, but as it looks like I've got a pretty well put together example of the Leon that already goes like stink, sods law dictates that I'll end up with a Friday afternoon car if I swap it!!!

Might just wait and see what the forthcoming VW Scirrocco is all about before I change.

Yes, but ive spent far too much money on this car creating perfection, plus I wouldnt be able to afford it anyway.

I agree, still fairly new as only 3 m0nths old and 3000miles on the clock but the Leon has lived up to all my expectations - not one fault. :D

Drives beautifully,
looks great (despite a growing number of scratches from visits to Tescos car park)
Plenty of speed for the motorway, grips road like a dream,
definately drives better then my previous (Golf1.6SE)
Great fuel consumption around London,
Finished well inside and out,

Lets hope im still smiling after 30,000miles ;)

Not wishing to curse myself but....

Leon FR TDI 06 had since 12th of July 06 just done over 17,500 miles and apart from self inflicted wounds  no actual problems.... Wasn't impressed with £198 1st service at my local Seat dealership, since I think all they actually did was put some diesel additive in, despite putting on the invoice that they flushed and changed the oil and checked the filters... I know they didn't, but what can you do... Just won't go there again...

So pleased with the beast not so pleased with the slaves....
