1. ive brought a cupra r, ive noticed that when i turn right there is a scrapping sound comin from the passenger side front wheel, ive checked to see if there is anything in the way but i cant see anything, any ideas?

2. ive noticed the brakes have seen better days, lookin into it i see brembos are quite expensive so is it worth goin the whole hog and gettin 323mm drilled and grooved or shall i stick to the standard brembos?

3. and finally id love a dumpvalve on my beauty, can i get one for a cupra? is it a big job?

any answers would be appreciated

Not sure on that one, is it still on the original wheels and has it been lowered?

Do a search ;) new pads should make a big difference, see this thread

You have a dump valve already :D

You can get a more reliable 'forge 007', see this thread for more info.

any answers would be appreciated

Do a search though before asking more questions, there is a hell of a lot of info on here and your question has no doubt been asked before :)

my front tyres sound like they scrape the arches of full lock but doesnt really concern me

forge 007 dump valve is the one to have. easy job takes 5-10 mins. pull off engine cover its at the back on the right hand side. just attach the hoses.

and brakes go for ferodo ds2500 pads.

discs are a more difficult to choose. som epeople swear by the standard brembos but when i upgrade mine i want grooved and it'l work out costly. i've heard ebc turbo grooved are a good choice with the ferodo pads. probly wot im opting for. coupled with racing fluid im sure itl be a good set up.

i stand to be corrected....

Could be wheel bearing, mine was making a similar noise to what you describe and my mechanic found it to be the wheel bearing and replaced it for 45quid.
Could be something dif though.

if you go for an atmos dump valve like a scooby or an evo then it can make your engine run shockin. somethin to do with the engine and MAF not knowing where the excess air is goin or something.

a recirc dv circulates the air back into the air intake and as such makes no effect to the way the engine runs. because the air is put back into the air intake the noise is minimal (or a lot less than an atnospheric dv) but still louder than a standard valve, and with an open air induction kit even louder. i know this from experience.

doesnt sound like a right PPSSTTTT!!!! more of a whoosh! if that makes sense.

But, you can get 50/50 ones like i use that dump 50% to atmosphere, so you get the noise, and 50% back to the intake.

Can't advise on the first 2, but the Forge 007 is a Diverter valve, not "dump" valve.
I have got a Forge SPLT R valve which is 50/50, this does make the PSSSST noise. But to make the most of it, you'll need an induction kit, I've got the BCM type and taken the sound deadening off the bonnett. This has given me noise I want. You can hear it spooling up, then "dumping" I only have to go to 2.5K and she dumps like a gudun.

i hear the split r valve can be a pain to set up though is this the case?

with my 007 - k+n set up i can hear the spool up and dump. quite a nice sound, not too loud.

as far as im aware a lcr will never sound like a scooby/evo - simple.
