Just fitted some bucket seats to the beezer via some custom made subframes i made myself, but cant find anywhere to fit a harness in.

Any ideas? Is there any mounting points i could use? The thread i need is an M12 by 1.25.

If not, can i just rebolt in the clippy bit of the belt and use standard ones?

And ive still got the dimensions for the frames if anyone wants them?

Pictures Here!

Can you not use the rear seat belt mounting points?

I can use them for the top part that goes through the holes, but the bottom two straps are where the fun starts, theres nothing to bolt into, if i cand find anything to mount ** to il drill the floor out and make custom brackets to slot through.

But tryin to avoid that!

Can you not replace the bolt on the stock belt mount with an eyelet to attached to. You'll struggle to find a mount on the inside without putting one into the exhaust tunnel yourself!

did your car have airbags in the seats before??
cant you somehow use the mulisplined bolts that bolt the seat down to secure the bottom part of the 3 point harness?

Ive made up some groundstock steel right angled brackets, with 10mm holes in em, gonna bolt the splined screws through them and through to the thread, then clip the harness into there. Anyone wants to know how to put buckets in give me a shout im becomin an expert!

Rash, never had any airbags, its a 2002, and dint disconnect any wires or anythin so i doubt it.

I got a 3 Point Harness and was wondering the same thing. Im going to use three eyebolts so I can still use original seat belts if needs be. Im going to replease the bolt in the rear seats that holds the clips to the body. Then in the front use the hole supplied on the subrame and the other one, near to the car door is the one im unsure about, cause the bolt is cover by platic interior. However cause the metal bracket sticking out the body work with the original belt on has a hole in it, im just going to clip it striaght on to that. Might have to cut a section (about an inch) of plastic out so that the clip can move and isn't jammed up againt plastic. Im asumming that if this bracket has the strength to hold original belt it will hold one of the clips of the harness.
