Hi All,

Looking a getting a nearly new Altea and just wondered if anyone can advise if you can fit 3 children seats in the rear,

The seats i question would be a forward facing 5 point, for my 1 year old, then two boasters which use the normal 3 point for my 4 & 7 year old?

Thanks.

Think all 3 of the rear seats have ISOfix mounting points so I would imagine you can get 3 seats in there.

Would the width measurement be helpful ? We've got a Toledo ... but it's the same interior
(same car, just more of a boot)

Hi Tiiewl,

That would be excellent.

I currently have an espace 05, but I was looking at the altea before I found out that I had a 3rd child on the way!

So I went for an auto espace, not really what I wanted, but keep the wife happy, but now that old gordie has decided to increase the road tax, my 2.2 derv auto comes into the most polluting bracket, but that means she is now happy to revisit the Altea :)

Anyway, the measurements would be excellent.

Cheers

You will struggle to fit this configuration, i could never fit a Britax seat and two Boosters in mine part of the problem is the middle section which is fine for small bottoms but does not lend itself to a booster seat. Luckily my oldest is 10 so she was able to sit in the middle section with out a booster on the few occasions we all used it. (Lucky enough to have an Alhambra as the family car)

Yep, a no-go with two boosters and a forward facing. Mine are 1yr and 6yrs and we have a britax booster and a britax ISOFIX. Not a lot of room in the middle but we have squeezed the occasional small adult (sideways) into the space.
I think that the new child seat rules would exempt your eldest from having to use a booster since it could not be installed in the car throught lack of available space. Just a thought if you consider this a possibility.
