2nd gear?

hi all im new on here.. had my ibiza cupra about a week..

just had the cambelt clutch and new flywheel on it..

the power in 2nd gear seems lagging. anyone know what this could be.. any sensors or anything?

Sounds like you MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow). Its located just before your airfilter with a plug in it. Try unplugging it and driving it and see if the boost comes back

i tried that yesterday... so ive taken the air filter and gone back to standard box.. ill try again today with it go from there..

You unplugged the MAF or the filter?

i unplugged the MAF first yest with aftermarket filter...i now plugged it back in with standard box...

im going out in a sec..il try unplugging MAF again with standard box.

still doesnt work.. any other ideas would be great..

think i need to get it on the VAG COM maybe

Could be a boost leak. Check your hoses to make sure they are all connected properly and check that they are all in good nick. Sometimes the hoses can perish if you only have standard hoses.

Need vagcom really though, why not put a help request in the vagcom section and see if anyone local to you can help you out?
