22mm rear ARB out of stock would 25front & 25rear work?

:help:Guys, I've just heard back from Damian at DPM that my rear whiteline 22mm ARB is delayed and going to take about 3 weeks to be in stock.

The other option is an Eibach front and rear 25mm set for about a £110 more

what do you think/advise!?

I dont think they're adjustable (whereas the Whiteline is) and also, after reading various other threads, would this set up work!? being that both front and rear would be 25mm

I dont know and have no experience of setting up handling on a car as a few of you already know (complete novice! ha ha:blink:)

I have recently purchased Upper and lower S3 strutbraces and front and rear tt wishbone bushes also awaiting fitting, i'm really wanting to get things rolling but not sure if i'm jumping the gun and am better to just hold on for the 22mm Whiteline

Cheeers as always:D

bear in mind i have a Cupra not an R

also excuse the pun 'need to get things rolling' I'm trying to stop the roll!!:p

So? Basically same chassis. Same weight etc. Ok, the front suspension setup is slightly different but the rear is exactly the same as an LCR.

He does have a Cupra, Damian - you got it right first time.

(Best kit for the Cupra R seems to be the Neuspeed ARBs from what I've read though...)

I thought the consensus was that the front ARB on the Cupra was ok as stock so possibly not worth the money upgrading?

I got a Whiteline adjustable from DPM on the back set on stiffest and I think its just the job..... :)

I'm in agreement with this, going too stiff on the front is a no no. 25mm at the rear makes the leon very neutral IMO.

I run standard front and 25mm Neuspeed rear.

Yeah, too stiff on the front will lose some traction out of slow corners etc. and too stiff at the rear could end up with a looser rear-end cornering in the wet.

I haven't researched the Cupra, but with the R I think 22/25 front/rear seems like a good setup - not overly stiff - and probably what I will be going for.

I know it will be worth the wait
