20VT inlet manifold same on all ibizas and leons?

Hiya all,

Can anyone confirm if the inlet manifold is the same on all 20vt ibizas (including mk3 and 4) and leons as Im looking at buying a spare inlet but the seller cannot confirm which leon or ibiza it came from. Any differences in the inlets if the car had drive by wire?

no they aint some are on the other way round, i think most are infact

i mean all 20VT that have the inlet to the manifold on the same side as the ibiza, are they the same?

the manifold probably is....are u asking about the throttle body too? cos not sure bout that

not sure there is even another 20vt with it on the same side as the mk3 ibiza? atleast that isnt dbw

hmm ok let me put this another way, im looking for a inlet manifold i can get polished up and then do a straight exchange for mine so my car doesnt have to be off the road, i just need to know which 20vt inlet manifold will fit, only the metal assembly, not where the drive by wire bit goes on the end, i assume that'll fit any inlet as long as its the correct side
