20k Service Costs.

What prices have people paid for their 20k services?!

I've just spoken to my two nearest dealers (GK Derby & Barlow Motors), and one quote me £270 and the other quoted me a maximum of £213 but she said it woud be less than that as the vehicle is only 8 months old!

Are these realistic prices or 'bend over' prices?!

Have you tried Midlands VW in Burntwood cannock there do all my services.

expensive id say, i normally pay around the £150 mark incl parts.

remember shop around, you dont have to use a dealer as long as Seat parts are used.

im booked into seat dealers for 20k service on monday. i'll let you know the damage!

im thinkin about cancelling my booking now, i knew it would be expensive at the dealers but £270 is ridiculous. there goes half my savings for my coilovers

yeah i know! its soo hard to save money, you get a few bob then insurance comes round! then tax, then tyres.....etc etc.....not easy keeping a motor!

iv just got my car back from the delears (W.Livingstones in Uddingston for anyones reference) and it cost me £148, which leads me to think u are definately being rodgered! why are there so many different prices being quoted, dont SEAT have standard rates for services? i even noticed that JBS charged like £160ish for a 20k service so im well chuffed with the price (and that reassuring SEAT stamp in my service book).

i thought i needed new brake pads asked them to replace them but they road tested it and said they were fine, but they feel so much better now i think they must have unstuck them or something. the car feels like it has a new lease of life which i cant understand when its just a service. with all the negative vibes floating around about SEAT delears on here at the moment id just like to say that i have had nothing but top class service (so far! lol) from my delears and have no complaints at all (except they didnt wash it this time!).
