I got mine done in Sept by the local Skoda dealer, including the brake fluid change and a new splitter fitted (supplied by me) for £195 all in.

What is fuel lone cleaner ?
Why flush the engine then replace the oil?
Screenwash could have been avoided by adding water to your bottle to top it up before the service.
That filter looks like the number for a pollen filter.
The most expensive part of your service would have been the stamp in the book.

My 20,000 service at LC Charles (last October) was £225 (which included the £35 brake fluid change)...

Sounds like you paid slightly over the odds fella

I'm an aircraft mechanic and my brother's a car mechanic/diagnostics technician. He does my services for me and i learn the ropes. All my bits i get for cost price and a crate of stella usually does the trick for his hard work. Car's a dream to drive...no probs. Its an early 03 cupra r so out of warrenty and although i'll have a FSH i won't have a FseatSH but that'll only be used as a bargaining ploy by a potential buyer in the future. Of which i don't tend to encounter as i dont plan on selling for a very long time. Plus the money i save goes on tyres and the ever increasing price of fuel. (damn you government). In the past i've found that Skoda AND VW have quoted cheaper servicing prices than Seat, plus you don't have to deal with the shoddy customer service and relations practices that Seat employ.

03 black Cupra R. Revo'd. 265/275 bhp. Rapido!
