Hi,

I'm on the hunt for a boot liner for my Formentor, during which I found the dimensions of the boot. I noticed a post or two regarding this so I thought I'd share my findings. Other internal dimensions are included.

Cheers,

Chaz

I’m fortunate enough to be able-bodied, but I find the RiDC (Research Institute for Disabled Consumers) website is really useful for interior dimensions of cars as I have an elderly relative who uses a wheelchair that I need to get in my car. I tend to refer to the website when I’m considering changing my car so I can check the important (to me) internal measurements of any potential new car purchase to ensure it will meet my needs. Lots of car manufacturer websites only quote the size of a car’s boot in litres; I’m more interested in the physical dimensions.

Hi,

Did you find one that suits your expectations?
Otherwise, I can share the reference of the OEM one I bought.
It's a double-sided (textile / plastic) one.
Hi,

Please share, I'm always interested in these things. At the moment I'm just getting a cheap, temporary fabric liner to see me past unexpected dog walking duties! :)

Hi
It's 5FF 061 201B. It's good, but the shape is a bit loose. I wish it were more tighly adjusted.
I'll take a picture to show you.

Hi,
Here is a pic of the OEM boot liner.

As written above, it’s not very tightly adjusted. There are gaps at both rear corners and I assume the shapes at both front corners are for non-hybrid versions which may have a lower boot floor.
Otherwise, quite satisfied.

Thanks for taking the time. I think I'm going to need something more substantial, though. The cost alone, for such a small liner, would put me off! I'll be getting my interim one soon. I'll take a photo or two.
