I'm looking to replace my rear axle as it has rusted away to the point where the spring seat has snapped off:
My car has drum brakes, and i've found a replacement axle for it but its around £300. I've also come across axles for disc brake models for around £150-£170. I'm just wondering if these are actually interchangeable or are they meaningfully different?
lll parts gives me this diagram for my VIN, but it lists multiple axle models:
