2005 Mk1 Leon TDI Cupra Mod or Not thats the question?

Hi People,

I've just bought Leon number 2, and am thinking about getting it remapped, anyone know what sort of power/0-60 hike you get on a standard 150bhp?

Also should I risk it with 2 years left on my Seat warranty ie no more warranty if they find out?

1 more, I've heard of an auto window/mirror closer thingy any info ?

done both of the mods when my car was only 3 months old and not had a problem in a year and a half. Remap gets you about 190ish bhp and is the car that it should always have been now. The 0-60 time has probably gone down a second i'd say but that is if you can get the power down and not destroy the tyres. I don 't boot it from standing or the tc goes mad. In gear times are better now as well.The automatic window/mirror closer is a pain in the arse to fit as you have to take the door panels off but it works great and I use it all the time.

Cheers ! I'll go ahead and get it done I reckon. Won't be destroying my TC either, just wondered if it made a difference !

Mines done and works a treat. You have to watch the clutch a bit though as it puts the torque to the limit of what the clutch can take. You soon learn how to drive round it - ie don't floor it at low RPM in 3rd upwards!
