Have recently recieved my 55 reg FR TDi, as it didn't come with mats, I decided to salvage mine from my last Leon Cupra only to discover that they have changed the shape of the fixings. Are there any mats now available with the new fixings except the red checky ones on Seat.co.uk which are also a bit steep at £50.

Also my 01 Leon had mudflaps which were a benefit due to the state of the roads at my work, could really do with some but on the website it says that they are not suitable for cupra/cupra R. As mine has the Cupra R bodykit then I guess that counts me out of those aswell. Anyone know any different?

Many thanks in advance.

you defo can get the red stitched leon mats with the new fixtures, pricy!!

I have the opposite problem. I have the new mats on an 02 plate and they slide around cause I cant secure them, really annoying when it gets stuck under the rubber of the clutch pedal!

I hate them rubber mats (not much reason to back that up with, I just do). However, they can fit very snug after you cut them.

Thanks for the replies, on the SEAT site, the only ones listed for the new fixings were the check ones, I would be very happy with the plain carpeted ones with the LEON logo in it. I'll get onto the stealers tomorrow.
