Oh no... not another keyfob question

Got a pre-loved 2005 Seat Altea 1.6 petrol and am trying to iron out few electrical glitches in the car. Have tried pairing the 1 remote fob key that came with it to operate central locking. New battery installed, red light flashing.

Methods tried:

1. Tried the trick where you take out the lock barrel and operate the lock with flat screw driver - it acts as a second key. Did not work - Youtube tutorial might be useful to other members of this forum - youtube search Programming Volkswagen Flip Key FOB remote with only one key in real time.

2. Using my VCDS i tried this tutorial - youtube search How to program mk5 VW remote key fob keyless entry using ross tech VCDS , did not work either, tried few times, clearing all errors and saved keyfob values before each try.

Sorry not allowed to post links yet - new member.

During VCDS pairing the car does not flash indicator nor does it beep when I press unlock on the fob.

Fault code shows up then (it was there when I got the car too):

I am starting to suspect some other component is causing this problem when programming, other codes found:
