2002 Leon electric window switch's flashing

Rookwise

Meeeep Meeeeep !!!!!
Noticed this happening on my way home from work. Both of the electric window switch's started flashing on both doors at the same time.
This only happens when the dimmer switch is up full. When halfway or low the switch's wont flash.

All other instrument lights are fine on the car. Just the window switch's that have started to do this.

Anyone have an idea if its the switch's with the problem or if it could be something else ?
My Leon is a 2002 1.4s with just the front windows electric.

mine has started to do this, there is a thread on this..it's under "flashing lights" in the search section.
started doing it after i played about with the dimmer wires installing vw w8 interior light.looks cool at nite as has 2 red led's in them that light up..cool..
i seem to recall to check the connections on the dimmer switch behind the fuse box.
not done mine yet but now will as this thread has reminded me to do it. thanks.
turn it down a fraction so its not full on but tbh i like it full on in ya face red..
or possibly the dimmer switch.

think a new switch by the sounds of it as ive just read the thread..

i would check the dimmer switch which is next to the headlight ajustment down by the steering wheel.
but check both just to make sure.if all connections are good then it must be the dimmer switch as it powers the switches you are on about.
i'm not sure how to put a posted thread up here yet..only just got pics sussed..
best thing to do is..goto mark1 leon on the home page..then at the top of the sticky section it will say "search this forum" just to the right of the page.. click on that and it will open up a space for you to type in what you are after..put in "flashing lights". i have just checked its about the 8th one down a thread by dark seat..
click on it and read thread.
sorry i can't be more help at mo.. still working this site out tbh.
