Was out last nite in a 200+bhp TDI Mk2 Golf last nite (i know its not a Seat but same engine as my car).
Seriously very very quick car, at track days he is out pacing scoobys etc and he is still gettin over 30mpg.
The main problem seems to be getting any sort of traction at all.
Engine started life as a 110bhp TDI out of a crashed Mk4 Golf and the bloke has done all the work himself. Just shows you what you can get out of a good diesel engine if you have a couple of grand to spend and a we bit of know how. Basically it is the same spec as the golf rally car with the addition of a propane injection system (Same thing as NOS but for diesel).
I know what im saving for now
