2.0TFSI FR DSG - Performance Upgrades

Hi All,
I have read several post and am a bit new to performance modifications.

I have a 57 Leon 2.0TSFI DSG and was wondering, starting with the base model, what modification people would recommend starting with (performance ONLY, not cosmetic).

I see a REVO remap with the SPS (stage 1) would be a good starting point (think around £650). Does this give around 50bhp over the standard 200bhp engine?

I am assuming this doesnt put extra stress on any of the other components and will perform happily without need to upgrade anything else?

Can anyone recommend other, relatively non-expensive upgrades that would compliment this and add a few extra bhp and what makes they would go for for things such as filters etc.

Thanks in advance

the 2.0t responds really well to software! that woul always have this as my first mod! as for wear, as long as the car is serviced at all the normal intervals as with a stock car you won't have any worries!

all our cars have had software on from delivery milage and a few are at 30K+ with no problems! :)

excellent news, think ill invest in a software upgrade after christmas,

any other small mods that could compliment.

Also am assuming standard fr brakes are good with the extra power?

anything you want to do in the way of filters....exhaust...intercooler will compliment the software! it's fully switchable so can be set up to you as the driver and your modifications!

your brakes will be fine :)
