After reading this thread - http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/new-a3...erature-comparisons-6s-7s-8s-s3-2-0t-8p2.html

Are the these the correct NGK Iridium BKR6EIX that are needed for the MK2 Cupra? http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m18b571s1232p15802&rs=gb

I read the new plugs for the Cupra are a step colder so BKR7EIX, but the 6's look to be better condition.

h mate , its the cupra R plugs that are a step colder , tbh there is nothing wrong with the standarrd plugs , tuners who i have spoken to say the same and changing is not worth the cost.

Do you know how much the standard plugs cost?

I found this relating to the temp change to BKR7EIX - http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/tfsimisc.htm

I have noticed a single misfire will driving. Its only done it 3 times in the past few weeks so i thought I would start with the plugs as they're over 3 years old now and done over 20k.

CDL engine code cars (FL Cupra and Cupra R) share plugs. There are three options, the latest ones quite possibly being the better ones.

What's the general opinion on which plugs to use, are the ngk iridiums any better than the oem platinum ones (bosch I believe)?
