Hi all
New here, not new to Leon issues though.
Hoping I can gain some insight to a long term issue I’ve had with my 2012 cr140 FR. I’ll try and keep it to the point.
Car judders under boost after cold start.
Idle is completely fine. Happens every time after I start driving from cold, and even with minimal throttle, as soon as it’s above 1800 rpm. Boost is fine after 5/10 mins.
I believe it could be the wastegate constantly opening and closing (that’s how it feels at least).
No lights on dash or from a code reader.
Highly doubt it’s glow plug or injector related, as it’s only when the engine is cold, and it would throw up a warning light
Not clutch related as it was replaced 20k miles ago.
Not EGR related either as I’ve blanked it off after it went into limp mode due to under-boosting once. Hoped that would fix it but the problem persists.
Not a life or death issue as I could probably live with it but it’s bugged me for so long. I’ve searched every Seat/VW forum for answers and when I find someone with a similar issue the solution is never discovered!!
Thanks in advance for any help.
