1998 SX Badgeless grille help!!

Hi Guys,

ive got a 1998 'S' Cordy 2.0 16v SX and im wondering if anyone can advise on how to change to the badgeless grille!

Im aware that its a post facelift one so badge is not attached!
Ive searched the forum hard and cannot locate the guide- only one i found was a dead link to another site!

so my question is do i have to remove the Full grille surround to fit the badgeless grille.

Im looking at this grille on the bay

Yeah, you have to remove the entire grille surround to replace the centre section.

1. Remove indicator units (clips on to the side of the headlamp unit)
2. undo 10mm nut which secures the ends of the grille surround
3. Undo the 3 torx screws along the top edge of the surround
4. you then have to prise the 3 clips that hold the bottom odge of the surround in place (not easy)

Once you've done that, you then need to drill the plastic rivets that hold the black centre section in place, and the fit the new grille with small self-tapping screws.
