17695 - Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249): Open Circuit

Anyone know what this error means? '53 LCR 225 - BAM engine.

I have a bailey DV30 and jabbasport induction kit.

car seems slightly down on power.

also, if it had the error before the DV30 was fitted, should it have been cleared first?

is it worth clearing it, and seeing if it returns?

Yes, clear and see if it comes back. That way you know it is a real problem and not a one off error.

Other than that not a clue, search for n249 to find out what it does.

will it have done any damage, driving with it disconnected?

your n75 is unplugged

It won't have done any damage. I've removed all of that in your picture (see the last couple of pages of my thread for details).

I get the same fault as the plug isn't connected to anything. Doesn't bring an EML light up either

It's the N249 that's unplugged, not the N75. connect it back up

T to the ripple post! (sorry about that). It shouldn't affect power either, are you sure it's not just the warmer weather? I've noticed the car's a bit more sluggish compared to the last few weeks.
