17" for LCR Brembos

I've seen some threads that discuss some wheels that will go
with the LCR Brembos, but I still have 1 doubt.
The LCR has 5x100 hubs, 323x28 disk and a 17" wheel will need
50 mm caliper clearance.

Now, when I see a 17" ET 35 (for example) or 18" wheel with 8.5"
what does it mean and how do I know if it fits ?

I'm after 17" wheels as light as you can get, for track use, that will
fit the LCR's Brembos, but don't have a clue how to see if they fit.

8x17 MO's in ET30 clear them no problem. What I had on my mk4 golf
Consider a CXR rim perhaps for 8x17 and same ET.. lighter

Thanks Bill, I already read the "which wheel clear brembos" in your section but,
like I said, which measures should I have in mind when browsing for rims ?
Should I look for 8x17 and ET30 rims, or does it depend on the rim shape and spoke thickness (makes more sense) ?

MO's are a bit heavy, and which CRX rim ? (you mean Honda,right?)
Old mk 2 OE ones ?

ONLY OEM Audi S3 "17 wheels will fit.......

ibiza mk4 cupra alloys should fit .

nope CXR alloy , think theyre made by compmotive ( rally slag alloys)

best bet might be trial n error , a saturday afternoon in ur favorite alloy wheel shop

CXR are my new 8x17 rims.. not fitted yet

17 x 7.5 Compomotive MO ET35 also fit.

Tried 17 x 7 ET36 Kosei K3s without success.
Trying OZ to see if they have any 17" with ET35.

EDIT: CXR, now I see, sorry

Yes, I've checked Compomotive site and they do have 17" x 7" ou 7.5"
and ET 30 or 35 should fit.
Must find a dealer though.

I doubt very much you're going to find anyone stocking Compomotives, as the ones I had were built to order, and I am under the impression that they're all built to order...

Other wheels that fit are the Audi TT 17" 6-spokes... just sold a set with racing slick tyres on them as well!!
