140,000 miles ibiza 1.9tdi

Hi all new on here, G2HSE refered me!

I have the chance to buy a seat ibiza 1.9 tdi s. it is a W reg on.

only problem is it has done 140,000 miles mostly motorway miles.

I need this as a cheap runabout and it has been serviced as and when it needs it.

does anything think i should stay away? anyone know what I should look for when viewing?

also what are they like to drive?

Friend of mine has one, Mk3 on a V reg with 150k on it, runs really well without any problems, its well looked after

i had a vw polo 6n2 1.4 tdi, sold it with 152,000 miles on the clock. it went like stink and ran as smooth as the day it was made. servicing is the key. i used to service it every 10,000 miles. hope this helps.

my other half has a w reg with 105,000 on for the past 6 months and all thats gone wrong is window regulator,its had the usual coolant temp sensor and boost solenoid but i find it really nice to drive

o and her mate has a v reg with 170,000 still going strong never missing a beat
