12v Feed?

I've just got a powered cradle for my windows smartphone, and don't really want to use the cigar lighter lead that comes with it.
If I'm going to hard wire it, would I be better to connect it to a 12v supply from
a)Fuse Box
b)Take a feed from the back of the H/U
or
c)Connect to the feed that supplies power to the cigar lighter?

Suggestions/Advice would be welcome

is the glove box light fed by perm live?

take your power from the permanent live at the back of the fusebox.just a couple of tork head screws lets you in there.its the thickest red wire with the big spade on it.if you are lookin an earth you will see a bracket in there with a 17mm head bolt holding it to the main car body.rem ur inline fuse
