he has a shop and the garrett turbos too [those for the golfs and A3] which are supposed to be better than the KKK [and he sells them cheaper].
The VNT-17 should is a direct swap for the VNT-15 on the 110. Or this is what I've learnt on this forums.
You'll need to change the IC imho since you'll have more air and you'll be able to achieve more boost = more heat.
Ideally, to get the best out of this you should go for injector nozzles to raise to decent levels the fueling. But for a first stage you could use the normal injectors.
Mind you mine is remapped and smokes like a freight train so I think you can go with the 17 and have a quite good fuel supply on stock injectors.
With injectors, chances are like you'll need a new clutch too.
I am really interested in this mod for my car but I ain't got no money to buy al that stuff for the car and most of all I'm concerned about lag.
Another option would be butchering your current turbo and this 17 and useing the 15 hot side and the 17 cold side. This could reduce the lag a bit.

take a look here for some [basic] info or do a search.

BTW, the guy seems to have very good prices but how d'you know those turbos are ok?
