1.9tdi power loss - boost?

Hey, i was accerlating past a car on the motor way and my 1.9tdi 130 ibiza lost all boost power as if the engine management has gone into limp mode, although there were no lights on the dish! i plugged it into a computer at my mates garage and there were no errors on the ecu.
after i turned the car off and restarted it, the problem was gone. i had a remap about 2 months ago but nothin like this has happened before. the car is fine now but does anyone have any idea what could have caused it? and is there any way of stopping it doing it again?

Its a loss of communication in the can bus sytem which i would say is due to the new map.
No need to get alarmed mine and a few others seems to do it every now and again.
As you say switch off and on sorts it. Did you notice a change in the tone of the exhaust when it happened?
I have narrowed mine down to the can bus info from the map sensor.

Nice one mate! ye it sounded like there was a snap in the exhaust but it was quiet. do you think that its a regular occurance or just something that will happen ocasionally?

It's happened once to me before, give me a fright like. Mines also be remapped. My Friend apparently had the same problem and it was down tot he MAF Plug coming loose. Funnily enough 1 day earlier i replaced my air filter. so i unplugged and the plugged it in a few times to work any crap of the connectors and its been fine since..

cheers mate thats great. when i got my remap i got told that its possible to get good gains if you use a fabia air intake pipe rather than the standard seat one! i think its a pretty easy mod but wasnt sure if its worth it or not! wat you think?

I think its down to messing with connections etc.
I had replaced my map sensor not long before it did it to me, in total its done it 3 times, but I was playing around with my old sensor too. As said make sure your map and maf connections are sound and should be fine.

Some have said they think it does and others say waste of time, but you wont have an opinion till you have done it.
