1.8T FR Turbo upgrade?

Hello gents,

I have read a lot of the same posts but I can't seem to come to a conclusion..

I want to upgrade the turbo on my ibiza, not sure if to get a hybrid k03s or a plug&play k04.
The problem is that i have a milltek downpipe (straight pipe full system) and dont know if that will fit the k04 as i've bought the downpipe specifically for the turbo that i have..

Any suggestions please?

K03S will push very similar numbers to a K04, for the extra 20hp or so you'd get from a K04, it's not worth the effort.

the problem came up when i went on the dyno to get it mapped, made 155hp 1st run, 135 2nd run, 114 3rd run, the tuner said that 99,999% the turbo is cracked on the exhaust side and leaks air as it starts to heat up and dilate, hence why i thought of making an upgrade: hybrid turbo, s3 injectors yada yada.
but after some more thinking, ive decided that if the turbo is cracked i will just buy a new k03s and get the tune, id rather keep the car at the ~200hp zone instead of losing some of its reliability
