iv not long bought my leon cupra, it already had the full exhaust fitted (less than a week old) but the emmisions light is on as the kid un-plugged the lambda sensor, he said it was cream crackered because it had been welded to the old system. Do i need to fit a cat and get a new lambda or will one of these lambda foolers that i have read about work??

From what I understand they dont actually map the sensor out they just change the values so the light doesn't come on?

MOT pass depends on what cat you have? if you have no cat you don't stand a chance of passing really ;)

So i might aswell just put a new lambda and sports cat and get it remapped then...saves all the trouble MOT time.
