1.6 tdi engine oil, is it platinum???

Hi, just wondering if the engine oil used in the ibiza 1.6 tdi's is called platinum?

Any help would be great.

I dont think it will be no, its not suitable for DPF cars, ill double check tomorrow.

I was talking to a guy in a car garage today, and he said they have gone from the pd oils to this platinum stuff on the newer models??????

If you can find out though, it would be great.

Platinum is a great oil but its 505.01 5w40

You should use the longlife oil in the gold can which is 507.00 5w30
