1.6 Sport Manifold/CAT Blowing??

Hi guys, I have a blow from which seems the join between the manifold/cat. I have replaced the gastket between the two and had good look and can not see where the blow is as it is so jammed up the bulk head. After reffitting it is still blowing. It had a new CAT a year ago and im wondering whether is is blowing behind the heat shield on the CAT or a cracked manifold. Had anyone had this problem before??? cheers

Mines blowing on the manifold where it goes from 2 into 1, only a little blow, but cant see it due to the coating on the pipe. Yours may be the same as I thought the flexi was blowing (it goes manifold, flexi, cat)

Is this a common problem??? Do you find its worse sometimes and ok other??? If I know its deffo that I would take it off and weld it. But cant see for sure. Mines annoying as u can here fairly loud
