1.6 Seat Leon MK1 Font down pipe and CAT

My front down pipe is coming away from the pipe connecting to my CAT.

So currently sounds like a tractor.

According to a garage i went to I need the get a new front down pipe and CAT because they are all in one piece. Does anybody know if this is true.

Going to get a second opinion elsewhere cause £250 for those 2 fitted i think is bit steep.

I did look while it was up on the ramp. The bracket connecting the CAT to car is loose, but otherwise CAT looks ok. Just look like the connection between ones pipe connected to CAT and the front down pipe.

But do I need to replace them or can it be fastend back again?

Any thoughts or anyone had the same issue.

thanks...

Yes this is correct, the down pipe and cat are one complete part.

Try looking under bosal exhausts, they used to have images of that part
