I have recently purchased the AEM air intake system and fitted to my leon with the EA211 engine. AEM advertised it for 2016 VW jetta but only in America, as it being the same engine i thought i'd bite the bullet and buy it and fit it.
From my experience I had to buy it from an international shipper from eBay. the only problems i found were that holder fitments ain't the same due to it being for a 1.4 VW Jetta in America only managed to get one in but with the pipe putting abit of weighted pressure on it, it sits quite secure. the pipe needs cutting down a little due to the windscreen washer being in the way of the air filter as it isn't there on the American vehicles but other than that it sounds great can feel a slight increase in the higher end but nothing massive and it was easy to fit took around 30/40mins.
just wanted to let anyone know who is interested in a intake kit or has seen it because we all know its a pain to get an air intake kit for the EA211 engine.
