Is the Civic EK, EP or FD? If it's FD then it's more likely the UK version but if the driver knows what he is doing, changes gear and keeps in VTEC, it'll put up a good fight! If it's EK or EP in that colour then it'll be the JDM spec with LSD, I'd be worried if it was the JDM EP as it's running the Integra DC5 lump and that's seriously quick in VTEC, however the JDM EK is still 180bhp and weighs less than the LEON (not sure about Ibiza). Cat-Back exhausts seem to work well on VTEC engines and claw a decent amount of torque from somewhere.

Anyway, if it's JDM EP, i'd go for that.

depends time wise on the track on the day really but ill say whichever wins the others will be 0.3 apart from each other around the 14.5/15.0 mark at a guess

just to add to help ya out too :) negotiate a track time only deal that way you don't blow ya load trying to beat the tree all day, reaction time is for pud bragging and championship timing

RWYB days just wait for green and go when ya ready and keep ya head to ya lane - ignore the other side, saying that no one ever does mind :) but if you at least try/think about it will help you get the best times.

and if you start getting higher mph during the day try and keep your wheelspin down more

It'll all depend on the starts I'd say - so the car with the best traction off the line! Tell the LCR owner to get good tyres and an uprated DBM :)

Doubt the LSD will make much difference on a straight road though ;)

Purely for the drag strip - try lowering the front pressures by 5-10psi and increase the rears by the same amount should help off the line too

Its down to how the cars geared as well, although the LCR would eat the ibiza on the open road my money would be on the Ibiza purely because of the aggressive revo map that suits 1/4 mile runs very well :)

defianlty not the ibiza the k03 run out of boost pretty early and at the most will only be pushing 200bhp
if its the 225 lcr my money would be on that

for a 1/4 sprint over 3 gears due to the weight and setup i'd go for the ibiza but will be about half a car length between em all if they were side by side

I think the Civic is out of it really, both Seats have the turbo advantage and for a short sprint thats what you need. Im tempted to say the Ibiza but again like everyone has said it will be very close. But difinately the Seats as top 2

If the turbo boys can control their launch then it's a fair call, but if they slip up and deal up an overblown dose of throttle/wheelspin off the line it could be over before it has started and they'll be chasing the Ricewagon from the off.
