I have the reverse... when i press my key fob to unlock the doors, the drivers and boot opens but the passenger doesnt. Unfortunatly the passenger door doesnt have a key hole either - so its permantly locked :-(

I am hopefully getting it vag com'd next week.

im not to sure if (the failure ) unlocking the passenger side door is standard as mine does it to.

Get highly fed up of passengers trying to get into car and nearly breaking my handle

maybe i should learn not to take passengers?? ;)

 have u ever notice that the car drives better when your in it on your own anyway.

But as for the topic question... can you hear the motor for the mechanism working ?

Might be something simple line the battery in the key going (thats my blonde answer - lol )

lmao - i mean its faster when ur on your own..

Could be the central locking pump... i have read somewhere else on this forum when searching for myself about checking the main central locking box on the drivers door. Make sure all the pipes etc are connected properly.
