02j gear box

can any body recommend a good oil to use in the 02j box which will get some serious abuse also can some 1 tell me where the drain and filling point is and where to fill it to any info is a big help thanks pm me

drain is on the bottom of the box. 19mm allen head, fill is on the front of the box, same 19mm, but behind the smic if you still have one.

Redline MTL is supposed to be good

Whats the capacity of the box, im sure i read 2lts, but i only managed to put in just over 1.5ltrs today.

I used OEM stuff, seemed to be ok giving it absolute death on a short track with low gears/high rpm.

you never get to drain it fully when opening the drain

Yeah i understand that but i thought ~500ml left in the box was quite a bit.

the fill level is where it falls out.. so if it fell out its full.. and unless you have a box on the floor, open and empty the rest does'nt come out ever.
